Lovin’ The View of Florida’s beaches

There’s so many words to describe the beaches in Florida. White sand and clear emerald waters. You get this free, relaxed feeling the second your feet hit the sand. The warm, calm breeze against your skin and the emerald water hypnotizes you, that’s the second Florida sucks you in and you fall in love.

Here’s a few of my favorite beaches on the east coast of Florida.

Jupiter Island, FL

Hobe Sound Beach our first stop. Image-3Image-5I really enjoyed this beautiful beach and its not that bad with crowds. We were their all day on a Saturday in April and the beach got just a little crowded but not too overwhelming.

Blowing Rocks Preserve one of my favorites. A unique beach that has the largest Anastasia Limestone on the east coast. I love this place, plus there are no crowds. Great spot for yoga, meditation or just to sit and absorb this beautiful place.Image-11I recommend looking up the tides schedule. Its a must see at low and high tide!!!Image-10

So worth seeing!

Miami, FL

Bill Baggs State Park in Key Biscayne my favorite beach spot thus far not just because of the white sand, clear water & beautiful lighthouse but the vibe it gives. I could just sit there all day. The water is very calm and puts you at ease, plus you can watch the sunset behind the ocean just around the point. Not a lot of place you can do that on the east coast. I say this is a must see park. Think it was $8 per vehicle to get in the park but that could change so be prepared to pay something.

Hutchinson Island, FL

Chastain Beach is a beautiful and quiet beach but, I recommend bringing bug spray. Sand fleas!

Santa Lucea Beach a must see spot. Walk a little bit and you will run into a few big rocks in the sand. Quiet and relaxing beach. Image-22Image-23I do always try to chase a sunset on my journey’s. “Enjoy the beauty of a sunset & enjoy nature’s farewell kiss for the night.” ~ Sharon Rene

Keys, FL

The Keys are the best in my opinion! Taking a boat out in the Keys is a great idea if you’re looking for that clear blue Caribbean water!

Hen and Chickens Reef, FL

Check out Tavernier Creek Marina. They have fantastic pricing, down to the point customer service & great boats to choose from.Image-29The Sand Bar is a popular spot to hang out for boaters and a great snorkeling spot check out Hen and Chickens Reef. There’s not a whole lot of beaches in the Keys unless you are on a resort, but you can check out Founders Park in Islamorada or Bahia Honda State Park in Big Pine Key.

Feeling hungry check out Whale Harbor Restaurant but, come with an appetite because they have a tasty buffet! After that go to Sand Bar on the rooftop for a cocktail & music. Image-30Well… that concludes my beach bum life for right now. I still have many more beaches to stroll, so I’m not done with you yet Florida! I cant wait to go back and explore more! Till next time FL ❤ large_KeysboatThank you for taking the time to checkout my first blog! ;)

Always take the scenic route!
